The academic atmosphere of the institute is sufficiently enriched with adequate infrastructure facilities with the objective to import the best possible management education & training from grass root level. The facilities of campus, library and teaching provided by the institute are second to none in the realm of management studies. Quality teaching and keeping pace with the demands of modern trends in education and changes taking place around has been the motto of the institute all along. Apart form qualified & experienced teaching staff, well furnished classrooms with modern amenities including Audio Visual aids, overhead projector & public address system add variety & depth to support facilities.
COMPUTERIZED LIBRARY
Library is considered to be the heart & soul of any educational institute. The Naba Krushna Chowdhury Library (NKCL) housed inside the AWDI complex is second to none with a collection of about 15,000 text & reference books. It contains books of very high, informative and educative value. Adequate number of journals of national & international standard, periodicals, magazines, newspapers, project reports, dissertations & other reading materials are available. Students have been immensely benefited by the research journal published by the Institute.
  SYSTEM LABORATORY  
 
In the world of changing technology no management education would be complete without basic computer education and training. Working computer knowledge is essential even for junior management professionals. Taking into consideration this important factor, the computer cell of the institute is equipped with adequate computer terminals having latest configuration. Students are likely to be benefited immensely.
Effective communication is the core of managerial activity. Both oral and written communication capacities are one of the most important requirements for each successful manager. Spoken English and Personality Development Programs with emphasis on group discussion, seminar and mock interviews are held regularly in order to instill the right amount of confidence in the students so as to prepare them to successfully compete in the job market. The endeavor of the institute continues throughout the session to invite eminent scholars & management practitioners from   reputed
  
industrial houses and management institutions as Guest speakers to make presentations on various management related topics as well as to share their real life experiencewith the students in solving managerial problems. It also provides a platform to aspiring managers to acquire knowledge and experience on various aspects of Management. Management Quizzes are organized regularly to sharpen the skills of the students. Regular classroom seminars are held every week.
 
 
SUMMER TRAINING
  
 
Summer training is an integral part of the management programme. Under PGDM curriculum it is compulsory. Students are made to undertake research activity on a particular topic in a particular organization and formulate a report on its basis so as to gain experience to successfully handle managerial problems while occupying managerial position in future. Students are encouraged to prepare research papers and make presentations. Research projects undertaken by the institute have provided the students with the required practical training and input so as to inculcate in them professional attitude and aptitude.
 
  RESIDENTIAL FACILITY  
 
Suitable accommodation (both boarding & lodging) is provided to outstation students (both boys and girls) under effective supervision. Students desirous of availing this facility are required to indicate it in the application form.
